This year our blog we'll be connected and twin blog with new friends from the other side of the world: Australia!!!
Our friends and their teacher Mrs Anne Mirtchin have already sent us a few words and a photo
presenting themselves!
Year 3 and 4, Hawkesdale Australia
G’day, we are year 3 and 4 students from a
small country school in Victoria, Australia. We attend Hawkesdale P-12 College.
We have both primary and secondary students in our school. We like to play
sport and use our computers. Mandarin Chinese is learnt as our second language.
Most
of us live on farms and catch a bus to school. It is spring time here and we have just
started daylight saving so the days are getting longer. What are your favourite
subjects? Our high school section of the
school turned 50 years old this year, so we had a historical dress up day on
Friday and you can see many of us in dressups in our photo. Our classroom
teacher’s name is Mr Huglin but we learn computers with Mrs Mirtschin. Can you
work out the names of students in our class?
